The library is the backbone of any college or scientific institute. In it, undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, scholars and faculty members find what they are looking for in terms of books, references, periodicals and bulletins that quench their thirst for knowledge and develop their souls and thoughts. There is no doubt that the library is a true address for the scientific institute that contains it and a true mirror of its level. Therefore, the College of Education has taken care of its library, which is one of the many achievements of the college. Although it started small, it has grown and expanded until it now contains many scientific, literary and cultural books, periodicals and magazines. The library provides its services to students of the College of Education and its faculty members, in addition to students of courses, colleges and other institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education in the city of Misurata. The library seeks to provide all scientific services that help faculty members and students in obtaining information in the easiest ways, by providing written and electronic sources, references and periodicals from their various sources, especially book fairs held inside and outside the Libyan state.
Loan System
Books are loaned outside the library to the loan department.
Rare books, references, encyclopedias, yearbooks and periodicals may not be loaned outside the library under any circumstances.
Borrowing is allowed for faculty members and students affiliated with the College of Education.
The loan period for faculty members is two weeks, and for students three days.
At most, it is renewable, or not renewable according to the importance and availability of the book, and each of them has a special card issued to him.
As for faculty members and students affiliated with other colleges, they can borrow if the library has a sufficient number of books, provided that this is done in an official letter from the Dean of the College.
Library Services

Assisting students in printing research, as many computers have been provided for printing research by students for free.
The library has a visual display hall and a data show in the library.

Printed Library
It has (11,000) titles, (8,000) have been classified and the rest are being classified manually and electronically.
Electronic Library
The library has a special section for electronic books stored on CDs in various branches of knowledge, especially in the fields of
Art Education, Languages and Computer.
Internet Services Section
The library has a good internet service by providing (20) devices, providing its services free of charge to students and faculty members.
Workflow in the library:
The library provides its services to students and faculty members without interruption, from (8) in the morning until (4) in the evening through a distinguished staff.
1. Take measures to provide the library with the necessary books and references for the college, and subscribe to periodicals related to scientific activity
in the college.
2. Provide references for students in the library reading room.
3 Exchange the college's publications with other colleges, institutes and research centers in similar scientific institutions locally and abroad, and receive the publications of those bodies.
4. Carry out indexing work, including indexing books and periodicals according to what is decided by the General Administration of Libraries at the university.
5. Provide students with textbooks and help them benefit from references and sources for conducting research.
6. Borrow books within the limits of what is stipulated in the general instructions for libraries.
