Mission

The Research and Consulting Department works to raise the status of scientific research and advance it in the College of Education to serve the community and develop the environment, and to employ academic expertise and their scientific production to develop solutions to many environmental issues, in addition to communicating and cooperating with private and public research centers locally and internationally in the fields of scientific research and consultations according to the perspective of comprehensive sustainable development.


Goals

1 Providing scientific and research consultations from a local and international quality perspective in all humanities and applied disciplines.
2 Achieving the objectives of the university and college's strategic plan in the field of scientific research.
3 Encouraging scientific research within the College of Education materially and morally in accordance with the university's vision, and linking it to the needs of the state.
4 Supporting joint (collective) scientific research internally or externally in accordance with the university's standards and controls.
5 Preparing a digital database for the research production of faculty members at the College of Education.
6 Participating in coordinating and preparing scientific conferences, workshops, scientific and training lectures held at the College of Education.
7 Contributing to achieving the goals of sustainable spatial development in line with the requirements of society.
8 Overcoming the difficulties facing scientific research in coordination with the relevant authorities.
9 Keeping pace with developments in the field of technology and modern techniques and practical training on modern programs, and benefiting from
local expertise in the field of technology.
10 Developing the research skills of faculty members and establishing its importance in serving the environment and building society, and preparing plans and monitoring environmental problems locally and globally.
11 Building and developing bridges of cooperation between public institutions to enable the department to review and develop scientific programs, in a way that makes them more responsive to the needs of the education sector and the labor market.

12 Listing the names of outstanding students (top students) for each semester and each year in the college, and providing scientific consultations and courses for postgraduate students.

13 Encouraging distinguished scientific publishing that ensures the improvement of the quality of research in the college, and improving and developing the research efficiency of faculty members.

Organizational Structure

1. Coordinating between the scientific departments that are related to the technical consultations received from the Technical Consulting Office at the university, or from the scientific research and studies centers affiliated with the university.
2. Overcoming the difficulties that may face scientific research at the college, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
3. Taking the necessary measures to implement what the editorial staff of the college magazine requests in order to issue and prepare the magazine at the required level, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
